Stipendiat
Moritz Frischkorn arbeitet als Choreograph, Performer und Theoretiker im Bereich des Zeitgenössischen Tanzes. 2014 hat er seinen MA in Performance Studies und New Performative Practices an der Uni Hamburg und der University of Dance and Circus (DOCH), Stockholm, abgeschlossen. Im Sommer 2014 war er außerdem als danceWEB-Stipendiat zum ImPulsTanz-Festival nach Wien eingeladen. Zuletzt hat er seine künstlerische Abschlussarbeit ’slideshow #justbeyourself‘ auf Kampnagel, Hamburg, gezeigt und den ersten Teil einer kollaborativen Recherche mit Heike Bröckerhoff und Jonas Woltemate unter dem Titel ‚Jakob K. / EINS‘ im Rahmen des DanceKiosk-Festivals in Hamburg präsentiert. Außerdem ist er am Aufbau der Webplattfrom ‚Plateau – Performing Arts in Hamburg‘ (plateauhamburg.de) beteiligt.

Moritz Frischkorn works as a choreographer, performer and theoretician within contemporary performing arts. He studied dance and comparative literature in Berlin, Paris and Salzburg. In 2014 he finished his MA in Performance Studies and New Performative Practices at the University of Hamburg and the University of Dance and Circus (DOCH) in Stockholm. In the same year he was invited to ImpulsTanz festival as a danceWEB scholarship holder. Most recently, he has presented his work ‚Barricades and Dances‘ at Kampnagel, Hamburg and conducted a collaborative research on the fictive choreographer Jakob Klenke (together with Heike Bröckerhoff and Jonas Woltemate) with residencies and showings at DanceKiosk Hamburg and Work Space Brussels. He has been working, among others, with Martin Nachbar and Manon Santkin. Furthermore, he collaborates with ‚Sarma‘ web-platform and is founding-member of ‚Plateau – Performing Arts in Hamburg‘ (plateauhamburg.de) beteiligt.[:]
