Katharina Kellermann studierte Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen und arbeitet als Audiokünstlerin im Bereich Performance, Choreographie und Installation. Sie beschäftigt sie sich mit Formen der Montage und des Samplings und untersucht Klang als erinnerungskulturelles Medium. Sie ist Teil des feministischen Kollektivs SWOOSH LIEU. Ihre Performance The Factory – eine Besetzungsprobe wurde zur Tanzplattform 2014 auf Kampnagel/ Hamburg eingeladen. Als Musikerin und Sounddesignerin arbeitete sie u.a. am Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, an den Sophiensaelen/Berlin, am Mousonturm/Ffm, am Schauspiel Frankfurt und mit der costa compagnie. Dabei zeichnet sich ihre Arbeit durch ein Verständnis von Klang als eigenständigem Mittel im theatralen Prozess aus, oft performt sie live auf der Bühne.[:en]

Katharina Kellermann studied at the Institute for Applied Theatre Sciences in Giessen and works as an audio artist in the fields of performance, choreography and installation. She is part of the feminist performance and media art collective SWOOSH LIEU, which was invited to Tanzplattform 2014 with their performance „The Factory – eine Besetzungsprobe“. As a musician and sounddesigner she works at Ballhaus Naunynstrasse and Sophiensaelen/Berlin, Mousonturm/Ffm, Schauspiel Frankfurt and with costa compagnie. Her work with sound is based on an understanding of music and sound as an autonomous medium within the theatrical process.
